Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring patient dignity and comfort.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the RN immediately.
- Assistance: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility needs, including transferring and positioning patients safely.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the nursing team, physicians, and patients' families regarding patient status and changes in condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Florida CNA license.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or acute care preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
