Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient conditions and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing staff (under supervision).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Candidates with no prior CNA experience are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification within a specified timeframe.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
