Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to nursing staff
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating dietary needs
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Support social and recreational activities for resident engagement
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – training provided!
- Current Florida CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
