Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments following strict protocols to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly escalating concerns to charge nurses or physicians.
- Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
