Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Transport patients to medical appointments and therapy sessions
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Accurately update patient records in electronic health systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
