Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide basic daily living support, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients remain clean, comfortable, and safe at all times.
- Communication: Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient logs.
- Housekeeping: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Current California CNA certification is preferred, but we will consider candidates willing to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help others and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required for travel between units.
