Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, injections, and minor procedures.
- Manage patient intake, charting, and electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors during night shifts.
- Ensure the examination rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in EMR systems.
- Valid NY State Medical Assistant license or equivalent.
