Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and update medical records with accurate, timely documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and high-acuity situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
