Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Feed and assist patients with eating as necessary, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to update them on patient conditions and needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CPR certification is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting tasks as needed.
