Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assistance with Mobility: Help patients move safely to beds, chairs, or wheelchairs, and assist with ambulation.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff to report changes in patient condition.
- Hygiene & Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients according to infection control protocols.
- Record Keeping: Document patient care activities, intake/output, and observations in the electronic medical record accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certification: Current Colorado CNA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical assistance.
- Soft Skills: Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
