Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Safety & Mobility: Utilize mobility aids and transfer equipment safely to prevent falls and injuries.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients, ensuring proper hygiene and nutrition.
- Communication: Communicate patient status and concerns effectively to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Documentation: Accurately complete patient charts, incident reports, and care logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Certification: Current Ohio CNA certification or willingness to obtain within probationary period.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities as needed.
