Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent skin breakdown and pressure sores.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Transport patients to treatment areas, surgery, or therapy using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification through our training program).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
