Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification (or eligibility for licensure) is preferred but we consider candidates with strong transferable skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read and write in English.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Strong compassion, patience, and empathy for patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
