Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring: Observe and report changes in patient health status, vital signs, and behavior to the RN or LPN.
- Personal Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Support: Administer medications as directed by licensed staff and document administration accurately.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients move safely from beds to wheelchairs or walking frames using proper body mechanics.
- Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior CNA experience required. Candidates with a passion for caregiving are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification through our training program.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and respectful care to patients of all ages.
