Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Vitals: Regularly check and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility as needed.
- Provide Personal Care: Maintain patient hygiene and ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communication: Relay important patient information to nurses and physicians promptly and accurately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain patient care records and shift reports.
- Emergency Response: Respond to patient emergencies and assist with mobility transfers using proper techniques.
Qualifications
- Active CNA License: Current Certified Nursing Assistant license in the State of California required.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification must be up to date.
- Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting or moving patients.
