Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers (bedsores).
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with feeding patients who require help eating or drinking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patient care.
- Communicate changes in patient behavior or physical condition to the supervising nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or Nursing Assistant license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as necessary.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
