Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Report changes in patient behavior, mood, or physical condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent bedsores.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification preferred, but candidates with no experience will be considered if willing to obtain certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform manual tasks.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
