Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.
- Communicate patient status and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent work experience).
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or equivalent state license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
