Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient care plans accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Assist with meals and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Ohio CNA Certification (or equivalent state license).
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
