Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and progress in electronic health records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various facility locations.
