Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility as needed.
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
- Administer Medications: Follow strict protocols to ensure accurate and timely medication distribution under supervision.
- Provide Emotional Support: Build rapport with residents and their families, offering compassion and companionship.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are sanitary and organized at all times.
- Document Care: Accurately record vital signs and care activities in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License: Must hold a valid CNA license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
