Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to families during critical times.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in accordance with healthcare safety standards.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adapt to changing shift schedules.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various clinical specialties and patient populations.
- Reliable transportation and availability for flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
