Responsibilities
- Measure and record patient vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient intake efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
- Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans and medications.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) required.
- California State License (if applicable) or in process.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
