Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately and timely.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and resident preferences.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition to the RN or nursing supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and visitors.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida CNA license (State Tested Nurse Aide) required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a nursing home setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
