Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to elderly patients (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain patient dignity
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams to implement care plans
- Administer medications under supervision as per protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and report changes promptly
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in home care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
