Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, care plans, and progress reports using electronic health systems.
- Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and assist patients with eating according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Environment Maintenance: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior CNA experience required. We are looking for eager learners ready to train.
- Certification: Current state certification as a CNA is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Good physical stamina is essential.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
