Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care as directed by Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient conditions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior CNA experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain within X weeks) is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients.
- Strong empathy and patient-centered mindset.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
