Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Infection Control: Maintain a clean, sanitary environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered Texas CNA license required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred but not required for top candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
