Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and continuously evaluate clinical status, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
