Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with daily living activities and patient hygiene routines
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Serve meals and assist with nutritional needs
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months hospital experience preferred
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
