As a CNA at Premier Medical Center, you will be the vital link between patients and the nursing team, ensuring comfort, safety, and high-quality care around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist in the collection of patient specimens and documentation of patient data accurately and timely.
- Respond to patient calls and alarms promptly to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current and active State of Ohio CNA Certification (CNA I or CNA II).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One (1) year of recent clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as necessary.
