Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and progress in electronic health records.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current State CNA certification or enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a desire to learn.
