Responsibilities
- Delight patients with personalized care assistance including bathing, feeding, and mobility support
- Accurately monitor vital signs and document patient observations in EMR systems
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and medical teams to ensure coordinated care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and assist with medical procedures as directed
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging moments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
