Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and patient treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and updates.
- Report any changes in patient condition or potential safety hazards immediately to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
