Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care logs in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Assistance with Procedures: Support nursing staff with medical procedures and treatments as directed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods; good physical stamina.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a high level of empathy.
