The Role
You will play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents and patients, providing the highest standard of care while building lasting relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or hoyer lifts.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress notes accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by state of Minnesota.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient dignity and comfort.
