Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate patient status and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records accurately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of North Carolina.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
