Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Active and valid California CNA License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
