Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for meals, serve food, and assist with feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and currently active in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
