Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
