Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers of patients to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions or concerns to the registered nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with facility protocols.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by the RN/LPN.
- Engage with patients and families to ensure a high quality of life and emotional support.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA License (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday).
