Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with nursing protocols and legal standards.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying any changes that require intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
