Your Key Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will deliver compassionate care to patients in a hospital setting. Your duties will include:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Providing assistance with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Collaborating with the nursing staff to update patient care plans and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Serving as a patient advocate and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Arizona State CNA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to excellence and a patient-first mindset.
