Job Overview:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, patient, and genuinely passionate about elder care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor residents' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual needs.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Document care provided in electronic medical records (EMR) in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Missouri.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
