Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
