Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated CNAs to provide exceptional patient care during our busy weekend operations. You will be the vital link between our patients and the nursing staff, ensuring comfort, safety, and high-quality care at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and promptly.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injury.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized patient environment and living spaces.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the Charge Nurse or medical staff immediately.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
  • Document daily care activities and patient interactions in electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current, unencumbered North Carolina CNA License required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): BLS and CPR certification (American Heart Association) must be maintained.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting preferred.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical assistive tasks.
