Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Accurately document vital signs and patient observations in EHR systems
- Support clinical teams with efficient room turnover and supply management
- Uphold strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active NM State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear background check and drug screening required
