Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Support meal services and ensure dietary compliance
- Facilitate social and recreational activities for residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Reliable transportation to multiple facility locations
- Background check and drug screen clearance
