Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with genuine concern for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
