Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility needs.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed personnel.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Virginia.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
